Embassy of Luxembourg and Arlington Cemetery<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Honoring the Heroes of the Battle of the Bulge \u2013 80 Years Later. We take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. We were honored to stand with four incredible veterans \u2014 Andy Valero, Ben Berry, David Bailey, Joe Landry \u2014 all over 100 years old, meaning 400 years of wisdom! Their courage and sacrifices will never be forgotten. Belgium and Luxembourg will always be grateful for their service. Charg\u00e9e d\u2019Affaires Sophie Karlshausen joined Members of Congress, Ambassador Nicole Bintner-Bakshian of Luxembourg, military representatives, Veterans, and the Battle of the Bulge Association to lay wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery in honor of all who served and gave their lives during this battle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Join us for a three-day look at World War II and the liberation of Europe.  Experience the newest gallery at the Virginia War Memorial, \u201cD-Day + 80,\u201d and its focus on the voices of those who were in France during the summer of 1944.  Acquire resources for lessons from material that has never been published.
