Dr. Greg Cutter received his B.A. in Chemistry at the University of California, San Diego in 1977. He then went on to receive his Ph.D. in Chemistry also at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1982. Currently, Dr. Cutter is a joint professor for Old Dominion University’s Department of Ocean, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences and Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Dr. Cutter is a biogeochemist interested in the fundamental processes linking the biology and chemistry of aquatic systems. He also likes to race sailboats and do adventure motorcycling.
