Teacher Workshops<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Each year teacher workshops to support the integration of GIS into the Placing Primary Sources<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Collaboration with the Library of Congress and the Virginia Geographic Alliance produced 11 story maps to feature key topics in American history based on primary sources from the Library of Congress. Six teacher “researchers” developed story maps featuring primary sources, guiding questions, and accompanying support materials.
