Austin Jersild teaches undergraduate courses on Modern Russia (327), USSR and Contemporary Russia (328), States, Territories and International Organization:  Evolution of the State System Since 1914 (416), Historical Methods (201), and Historiography (402).  At the graduate level he teaches one of the core courses for the Graduate Program in International Studies (International History) as well as seminars for the History M.A. program such as Empire and Nation in Russia, Stalin and His Era, The Rise and Fall of the Socialist Bloc, and others.
