In order to address the problems identified and implement the solutions proposed in my co-authored 2013 article about supporting public and activist scholarship, I formed a new peer-reviewed open-access journal with Associate Editors Adam Briggle (University of North Texas), Sky Croeser (Curtin University), and Shannon Vallor (Santa Clara University), among others.
