Today, Raj and I carried out an outreach at Park Place School, 509 W 35th Street, Norfolk, Virginia.  The kids were very delightful, bright, and well-mannered. We really need to nurture and care for them as they are our future!!

We showed the kids how to do the following:

  1. Electroplating of a silver coin with copper
  2. The chemical garden
  3. Qualitative analysis of cobalt(II), copper(II), iron(II), iron(III), manganese(II), and nickel(II) cations
