3 credits: full hour lesson - for sophomore Performance majors only. Requires two student recital (SPH) performances. 251 jury consists of two solos, one by memory, with piano or major unaccompanied solo, playing by ear.
No jury for 252; a recital approval performance and half-hour recital is required.
Review fundamentals with emphasis on any deficiencies. Advanced flexibility exercises, continue multiple tonguing. Intermediate materials for clefs, articulation, range, velocity, F-attachment/fourth valve, jazz styles.
