(Not So) Hard-Pressed: WordPress Templates for ePortfolio Adoption
For the 2018 PressED Conference (https://twitter.com/pressedconf), Dan Cox (@videlais) and I (@merryquinn) offered a series of tweets in connection to a presentation regarding our use of custom templates within ODU’s WordPress system. We described our presentation as:
Eschewing dedicated ePortfolio platforms, our institution offers an internally-hosted WordPress template creation program. This approach values user agency, providing a process for integrating ePortfolio pedagogy, instructional design, and educational technology adoption.
